This page may help you if you are looking for a Tibetan Terrier puppy to join a loving family. .
Tibetan Terriers are classed as companion dogs, they thrive on company, therefore please do not be offended if we do not offer our puppies for sale to homes where the family are out at work all day, this would not be fair to a puppy.  They are also generally a suitable choice for a families with asthma and allergy sufferers.

Please scroll to the bottom of the page for current available litters from Khados breeding

We are proud to confirm that we are Kennel Club Accredited Breeders of Tibetan Terriers - our accredited breeder contract number is 133202 - further information about this scheme can be obtained from the Kennel Club, London.
All Khados puppies are KC registered, insured, part vaccinated, microchipped and are bred from parents that are hip scored, hold clear eye certificates and have undertaken any genetic tests appropriate to the breed - currently  PLL and NCL/CCL.  Our puppies are all house reared and well socialised.  Visitors are always welcome to view our puppies.

Once the puppies have their eyes and ears open, they need to see and be seen, we like to socialise our puppies as much as possible and in particular like them to meet up with children. Tibetan Terriers make lovely family pets.

The decision to buy a puppy should not be undertaken lightly.  A baby pup demands a lot of attention, he will need three or four regular mealtimes, time spent on "bathroom manners" and time spent on socialising and training and, even though he will have very little coat at first, a regular grooming routine must be established if you are to succeed with maintaining this double coated breed in the correct order.

It can also be tiresome being a parent

IMPORTANT When purchasing a Tibetan Terrier puppy we strongly advise you to look for a house reared and well socialized puppy.  Both parents should hold clear eye test certificates, dated within the previous twelve months, and a certified hip score which is ideally under a total of 16, do not be afraid to ask for copies of these certificates.  From October 2009 it is also possible for Tibetan Terriers to be DNA tested to ascertain their genetic tendancy towards two of the hereditary diseases that affect the breed, these are PLL and CCL (also known as NCL).  Ideally both the parents of your future puppy will have been tested, but most definitely at least one parent must be known to be clear of the mutation if you wish to be certain your puppy will never be genteically affected by either of these horrible diseases. Please refer to the Animal Health Trust or The Kennel Club websites for further advice  on how to use the information gained from genetic testing.  All our  breeding Tibetan Terriers are DNA tested for PLL and CCL/NCL, are suitably hip scored and are eye tested annually. All bitches bred with our males also have to meet these requirements and be of sound temperament.  Our males are not at stud to comercial breeding practices.
